It’s About Time…

Autumn is always a busy time of year for me. Between back to school, back to routines, birthdays, and holidays, life ramps up. Work usually gets busier too. I get my head back in the game, tackle new projects, and reconnect with clients. All while trying not to lose my mind moving from sedate summer to frantic fall mode.
I got this…
This year was no different. There were the regular return to routines—swimming lessons and weekly scout meetings—and the onslaught of family holidays and celebrations, but 2019 threw me a little more. I picked up two new clients at the end of the summer, and just last week added another to my roster. It’s possible that I just might make a go of it at this social media marketing gig after all!
Making Time
“There are no magic wands, no hidden tracks, and no secret handshakes that can bring you immediate success, but with time, energy and determination you can get there.”
Darren Rowse, Professional Blogger
Do I have this? Oh my. Whoa baby…
There is no time to doubt myself though, as my hours have become a lot more scheduled and a little more valuable. There are updates to schedule, pictures to post, and meetings to squeeze in; all things that soak up a little more of my day. Plus, several clients have events going on that I need to attend, capture, and be part of. Where has the time gone? But I know.
Time is something we put in every day. Butt in the chair, I have been there. I work hard to represent clients in their best possible light and promote them for all they are worth. I believe in their businesses and am proud to work with some of London and St Thomas’s finest small businesses. And my efforts and energy don’t go unnoticed.
There are always so many tips and tricks you can use to get ahead in the social media game, but the best one is always this—keep going, be consistent, put out the best possible effort you can, and people will notice. That builds brands and followers. Mostly though, it creates trusted friends and fans. But it takes time. You have to put it in.
Thank you for being part of that with me.
