My Fall Book Tour Wrap Up
Fall Book Tour The Wrap Up
Autumn is always busy, but this year I squeezed in just a little bit more. After taking the summer off, it was time to ride out and share Riding the Waves and Roughing it in Africa with a new audience. Despite a return to school, routines, and holidays, I managed to take part in six stops across Southwestern Ontario.
Here’s the Fall Book Tour Wrap Up!
Stops along the way...
- Katherine & Daisy at Chapter SL
- Katherine at Chapters SL
- Set up at Indigo NL

Fall Book Tour Wrap Up
Chapters South London
I started off the Fall Tour with a return to Chapters South London. In fact, I was there twice in September, bringing my total visits to this welcoming store to five book signing events. I was joined by author Daisy Mae Hamelink for the first event, which was a nice way to dive back into things
Indigo North London
Not to leave out the north end of the city, I also returned to Indigo North London later in September. I met plenty of great people and was happy to share my stories with new fans!
Chapters Newmarket
It was time to strike out further in October. I leaned into a new market in Newmarket, Ontario (forgive my attempt at witticism)! Even better, I reconnected with a former co-worker and got to see friends in the area, plus met plenty of new people too.
Lake House Books
All weather is beach weather, especially when you get to make a stop at a quaint independent bookstore. Lake House Books in Port Stanley is always worth the visit. I had dear friends come out to hear me read and made some new friends too.
Salon of the Refused
My last stop of the Fall Book Tour was at a unique event called the Salon of the Refused. I was honoured to be included in a collection of writers who shared pieces of their writing that wasn’t accepted the first round. Undeterred, we all read a little something, whether it was poems, short stories, or excerpts from longer works. It was a great experience, plus I chalked up a few new readers too!
