Hello Newmarket!

Are you ready to support and welcome an Indie author to your fair town? I cannot wait to see you! My book tour has hit the road and I can’t wait to stop at Chapters Newmarket for my next book signing event. Please come out to say hello, purchase copies of my books, and get them signed too!

Since Newmarket is a new audience for me, let me introduce myself.

For those who don’t know me, my name is Katherine Krige. I grew up in Richmond Hill, just down the road from Newmarket, and now live in London, Ontario. I am a Freelance Writer and accomplished Social Media Manager. I hold a BA in English from York University, an ECE Diploma from George Brown College, plus I regularly enroll in writing courses in the Creative Writing Certificate program at Western Continuing Studies.

My books may both be memoirs on different subjects, but they have similar themes: finding and accepting oneself, no matter what life throws at you. I have  published two memoirs to date; the first ‘Roughing it in Africa’ and my most recent book ‘Riding the Waves’. They both speak to life experiences and how they mold us, spanning adventure travel and grief.
